 The banquet theme this Year is: "Western" Banquet wear as always is your choosing, but we are encouraging Western Wear "pardner"! Come join in the fun, but remember, you'll have to check your six shooters at the door!

 This years convention shirt will be a black polo shirt (high quality, pocket and collar) embroidered logo above the pocket with name and callsign on the opposite side. You may order your shirt with your Pre-registration before March 23, 2008.

 Once again, we will be having a Golf Tournament Golf Tournament on Friday. Questions regarding the tournament should be E-mailed to Don Bostrom, N6IC. Please indicate your intention to participate in the tournament on your registration form. The convention does not charge any registration fee for the Golf Tournament but the local course will charge their usual greens fees.


 Attention all Wild Women and Wild Women-to-Be.. Come join us for the Saturday Tour at the International DX Convention. We will have sight-seeing, lunch, prizes and lots of laughs. Come see old friends and meet new ones. We will travel in a luxurious bus, handicapped-equipped, and you will be picked up at 9:00am and returned at 4:00pm in front of the Holiday Inn.

 Our husbands come to Visalia to meet and greet, why not us?

RV Parking (at the Holiday Inn): (NEW RULES FOR 2008)
  • You must reserve an RV spot with the hotel. If you don't have a reservation you will not be permitted to park. To reserve a spot please contact Brian Lancaster at 559-651-5000 (ext 2608) or blancaster - at - altamonthotels.com. Parking will be limited to 35 RV's
  • The fee will be $35.00 for the weekend covering Thursday through Sunday.
  • Individual spots will not be assigned so if you want a particular spot arrive early. RV parking will only be permitted in designated areas. Please refer to the parking lot map for permitted RV parking spaces.
  • Standard dry camping rules apply. There are waste public dump facilities in some rest areas along Hwy 99 both north and south of Visalia. The hotel will provide a trash dumpster at the west end of the lot near the John J.
  • While everyone can use the hotels bathrooms and other facilities, you are encouraged to use your own RV facilities as much as possible.

Your registration fee includes:
  • Hosted cocktail party (Friday and Saturday).
  • All HF, Low-Band, and DX oriented forums and technical sessions.
  • Convention Patch.
  • CQ & DXCC card checking (excluding CQ & ARRL processing fee's).
  • Saturday night Banquet & DX program featuring a well known speaker.
  • Sunday morning breakfast buffet with speaker.
  • Pre-registration (Postmarked before March 23, 2008) drawing for an Icom IC-718.

Under 21:
 Hams and students under 21 years of age are admitted with a free registration only ticket upon proof of age. For Saturday banquet and Sunday morning breakfast the cost is $55.00
